Double hung windows feature both top and bottom sashes (or frames) that can slide up and down and tilt down for easy cleaning. Double hung windows are a popular choice across multiple home styles, as they provide a classic, sleek appearance and easy maintenance.

Similar to a bow window, bay windows feature three windows that form a rounded feature. The difference is that all three windows may be picture windows, or the center window will be a picture window with casement or double hung windows on either side.
